at Ono Academic College was established in collaboration with Maccabi Health Services, and the Sheba Medical Center in Tel Hashomer. Students can study for degrees in occupational therapy, communication sciences and disorders (speech therapy), sports therapy and starting this year, nursing. Dean of the faculty Prof. Shlomo Noy is also the director of the Rehabilitation Hospital and VP of Research and Development at the Sheba Medical Center in Tel Hashomer.
Ono Academic College is proud to be the first private academic institution in Israel to receive accreditation from the Council for Higher Education to award a bachelor’s degree in occupational therapy and communication sciences and disorders. The Faculty of Health Professions maintains a social, interdisciplinary and evidence-based approach to evidence-based practice, aiming to train professionals with a social mindset, who are skilled in integrative and evidence-based integrative work.
