Ella Bin PT, PhD – She is a professor of anatomy and paleoanthropology.
Prof. Bin serves as the head of the Sports Therapy Department at the Faculty of Health Professions at Ono Academic College. Her research deals mainly with the evolution of standing upright and walking on two feet and the relationship between the position of the spine and the development of back and neck pain.

– 1990. B.P.T., in physical therapy, Tel Aviv University (with distinction).

Teaching Areas

Anatomy of the human body, including applied anatomy and dissection. Kinesiology, movement theory, diagnosis and treatment of postural problems. The development of the typical and atypical child. Manual treatment methods in physiotherapy.

Research interests

Spine - anatomy, development, pathology and evolution; Posture - functional, evolutionary and pathological aspects; Human evolution with an emphasis on the transition to bipedal walking
