Serves as associate editor of the Health Policy and Technology Journal and has organized major conferences in information systems and medical information systems.

He won research grants from industry and academia, some from the U.S.-Israel Binational Science Foundation (BSF), the German-Israeli Foundation (GIF) and the National Institute for Health Services and Health Policy Research, among others.

Won numerous awards for his research achievements including the best article of the year in Decision Sciences magazine.

In the past, he developed internet information systems at the MLL company, an economist in the research and information team of the Israeli Knesset and worked in a variety of technological positions at a computer communications company – Rad-Binat.

Bioinformatics, data mining applications in the health world, econometrics and forecasting methods, Health Analytics, Data Mining, health economics, medical decision making, information systems policy and information value in decision making processes.
