Did you know that chronic diseases are responsible for about 60% of deaths worldwide? The massive number of chronic patients requires the healthcare system to become more efficient in all aspects of managing patient care to achieve the goal of improving the quality of care in every detail.
This unique program is the first of its kind and has been developed in accordance with modern needs in healthcare. It encompasses all aspects of managing chronic patients, including clinical, administrative, and financial elements. This is a clinical degree intended for academics working in the fields of medicine, nursing, physical therapy, pharmacy, occupational therapy, communication disorders, and paramedics with a bachelor’s degree in emergency medicine.
The purpose of the program: To impart to medical staff the theoretical and applied principles of managing the care of chronic and elderly patients from a multi-system perspective that includes clinical coordination, control, and budgeting across the continuum of healthcare services. In the program, students will learn the management of healthcare using a process that combines estimation, planning, implementation, coordination, monitoring, and evaluation of services with the aim of satisfying a patient’s health needs, through connections and utilization of given resources and through the integration of management tools, which will lead to efficient, quality results.
