On 6/10/2024, Ono Academic College will conduct a memorial event to commemorate 7/10

- 12:00 Seven of October Lecture by Ziv Koren. Koren is the author of “The Seventh of October – a photo diary of a painful and shocking period”. This unprecedented documentary project by decorated documentary film cameraman Ziv Koren presents the events of the massacre on 07.10 and the war that broke out in its wake. On October 7th, 2024, Ziv took his camera, got on a motorcycle and raced South. He was one of the first photographers to be exposed to the horrors in the Southern Communities. He photographed firefights with Hamas terrorists and recorded scenes that will forever be engraved in the national memory. His book consists of 400 selected photos combined with texts penned by Koren and other writers including Dani Kushmaro, Haim Yelin, Miya Shem and more. The lecture will be broadcast by zoom to the Haifa and Jerusalem campuses
