Tennis Conference Flyer and Description

On Thursday, May 30, 2024, Ono Academic College will host the Conference of the Israeli Women’s Tennis Association which will take place from 9:00 to 13:00 at our new Savyon Junction Campus located at 1 Academic Avenue, Kiryat Ono.

The Conference’s schedule is as follows:

  • 9:00-9:20 Gathering and refreshments
  • 9:20-9:25 Avi Peretz, Chairman of the Tennis Association
  • 9:25-9:30 Prof. Avi Moyal, Director of Ono’s Sports Specialization
  • 9:30-10:30 Yarden Gerbi, former world Judo champion and Olympic medalist on the subject of “Golden dreams”
  • 10:40-10:45 Ofri Yakir, CEO of Athena, the Center for the Advancement of Women’s Sports in Israel
  • 10:45-11:45 Dr. Rotem Keslo – Cohen, Director of the Department of Physiology and Science at the National Training at the Center for Sports Medicine and Research at the Wingate Institute on the topic “When is it right to load up? Models for the development of young athletes.”
  • 12:00-13:00  Sharon Zaevi – Expert on Sports Safety, Former Israeli basketball player on the topic “Safety and safe spaces in tennis”.
