Ono Hosts Psychodrama and Trauma Symposium in Shadow of Iron Swords

Ono Academic College’s MA in Psychodrama program will be hosting a zoom symposium on the subject of the healing power of psychodrama in the treatment of trauma.

The meeting will take place on Monday, August 5, 2024, at 5:30 PM on Zoom.

The symposium will feature an address by Dr. Batsheva Recanati, a lecturer in the program and into the processes of loss, trauma and healing, on how the language  of psychodrama can help ameliorate cases of post trauma. In the middle of the Iron Swords war, there are many trauma victims who need this type of emotional support in these complex days.

Recanati will open a window on psychodrama, a powerful therapeutic tool, which enables the processing of the experience in a protected and empathetic place. Psychodrama provides a comprehensive and robust answer to the failures that the trauma creates in the soul of the victim and offers possibilities and opportunities for recovery and a renewed connection to life.
