Dr. Angela Ironi serves as the head of the Sharon district of Maccabi Health Services. In the last decade, she held senior management positions at the Maccabi headquarters as the head of the Nursing and Medical Centers Department and as the founder and director of the Tele-Health Center. Dr. Ironi led innovative projects in the field of telephone monitoring and remote care for different populations (e.g. pregnant women, chronic patients, etc.). She also led significant strategic programs dealing with home hospitalization, innovative models of community care, implementation of medical service applications and more. During the COVID19 period, she was a member of the National Forum for the Fight against the Plague. She also serves as the Israeli representative of IMIA – the International Association for Medical Informatics.
