Rabbi Dr. Sharon Shalom, the Director of the International Center for the Study of Ethiopian Jewry at Ono Academic College, took part in the film “Jerusalem for Me” in which Israeli celebrities discussed what Israel’s eternal capital means to them. Rabbi Sharon noted (1:09) that for him, Jerusalem represents hope and that Yerusalem (as the city was known to Ethiopian Jews) was always his dream.
