Ono Academic College wishes its students, staff and the general community a happy and healthy Jewish New Year, 5782.
The College’s Religious Zionist Administration notes that the first two days of the Hebrew month of Tishrei are celebrated as the New Year, on which God is crowned as King and the world is judged regarding what will be in the coming year. It is customary to eat hearty holiday meals featuring foods symbolic of life and growth and to hear the sound of the Shofar horn, which rouses us to repentance and becoming our best selves.
May we all have sweet new years!
