Ono Announces Winning Trauma Research Projects
Ono Academic College’s Center for Integrated Trauma has completed the evaluation of the propsals submitted for multidisciplinary research in the field of trauma.
The academic committee, comprised of Prof. Tova Hartman and Prof. Erez Yaakobi, examined the submissions and selected 5 proposals on the basis of their academic excellence.
These are the winning proposals:
- Dr. Dafna Lieber, Ariel Yohanan. School of Humanities and Social Sciences, “For a moment of speaking after years of silence”
- Dr. Einbal Blau. Faculty of Law, From trauma to recovery – treatment and rehabilitation mechanisms for mass-casualty events and disasters – between the 9/11 and 10/7 Disasters
- Dr. Hagar Hajaj Berger. School of Humanities and Social Sciences, Caregivers on the front lines and the rear front: The construction of mental health care and the character of the therapist during the Iron Swords War
- Dr. Siegel Liraz-Saltzman, Dr. Nitza Horev, Prof. Ella Bean, Dr. Hana Putter-Katz. The School of Health Professions, Detection of concussions and hearing impairments following head injuries among students who participated in the “Iron Swords” War
- Dr. Sharon Vaiswasser, Dr. Liat Shamri-Zeevi, Dr. Neta Ram – Valsov, Dr. Yifat Shalem – Tzafri. The School of Society and Arts, Trauma-informed creative arts therapy as a short term group intervention model.
