Dr. Nadav Shir, a lecturer in Ono Academic College’s School of Business has published an article in the prestigious Journal of Business Ethics. The article titled “Satisfaction with Life as an Entrepreneur: From Early Volition to Eudaimonia”
The study (based on two datasets of American business owners and Swedish entrepreneurs in the early stages of establishing the venture) examines how satisfaction with a person’s life as an entrepreneur constitutes a decisive ethical and psychological dimension in understanding the relationship between the freedom to initiate and the psychological well-being of the entrepreneur throughout the period of establishing the business.
The journal is on the list of Financial Times top 50 Journals (50FT) which is used to rank leading business schools in the world.
This article represents the fifth publication by Ono School of Business faculty in publications on this list, this year. As such Ono’s Business School is one of the three or four leading Business Schools in Israel, judging by quality.
In addition, we are proud to note that this is Dr. Shir’s fifth publication in a publication on the list, which is unusual in terms of an academic career for a young faculty member.
