Ono Academic College hosted a unique conference on the subject of information transparency during the “Iron Swords” war and the role of censorship during wartime. The conference was held in collaboration with the “Success in Promoting a Fair Society” organization
Prof. Yuval Elbashan, Ono’s dean of the Multicultural Campuses, opened the conference. The conference was attended by, among others, Brigadier General (Ret.) Ronen Manelis, former IDF spokesperson, and Director General of the Ministry of Strategic Affairs; Lt. Col. (Ret.) Ron Karnieli, Deputy Chief Censor for Strategic Affairs; Attorney Yuval Akoa, Deputy Director of the Freedom of Information Unit at the Ministry of Justice; Adv. Ben Zion Tzitrin, Chairperson of the “”Success in Promoting a Fair Society” organization and Adv. Elad Man, CEO of the organization.
