As part of our celebration of International Women’s Day, which is marked around the world on March 8th, Ono Academic College hosted the launch event of the Women in Tax IL Forum at the new Ono campus at Savyon Junction. This initiative brings together senior women in the field of taxation in Israel with women who represent the field’s next generation. CPA Tali Ron, CFO of Ono Academic College, represented the college alongside other women at the top of the field, including CPA Miri Savion, Deputy Director of the Tax Authority and Tali Yaron Elder, former Commissioner of the Income Tax Authority, who led the most significant reform in the field. The event was attended by senior managers and partners at the leading firms in Israel including Fisher (FBC), Ernst & Young (EY), Deloitte and more.
The purpose of the forum is to create an ecosystem of academic and professional women from the private and public sectors who will have a significant voice in the determination of future tax policy in Israel.
