Ranan Hartman, founder and CEO of Ono Academic College, introduced the video discussion series produced by Ono Academic College and the Jerusalem Post entitled “The Day After: The conversations that could shape Israel’s future”. The series aims to discuss critical themes related to the aftermath of the Israel-Hamas war, including religion, economy, education, and antisemitism. Hartman believes it’s crucial to start discussions about how Israel should run its affairs after the war. He argues that Israel needs to remain open and multicultural to counter Hamas’ goal of shutting down the “Israeli dream”. Ono Academic College also established a trauma treatment center to support Israelis grappling with the war’s aftermath. Hartman emphasizes the importance of education and dialogue across different segments of Israeli society, including Jews and Arabs
