The holiday of Sukkot is celebrated from the 15th to the 21st of the Hebrew month of Elul. During the holiday, Jews live in their sukkot (huts) and celebrate together with their families. They shake the lulav (palm fronds bound with myrtle and willow) and the etrog (citron, a lemon-like fruit) that symbolize the diversity and importance of unity among all the children of Israel. Happy Sukkot!
