Dr. Nitsan Almog

About

Dr. Nitsan Almog is currently Director of the Specialization in Integration and Inclusion in the Program of Education and Society. She has also served as a Lecturer in the School of Social Work, Bar Ilan University. Additionally, Dr. Almog serves as an advisor to the “Revolution in Higher Education Programs” of the National Insurance Institute. She is a member of the Board of Directors of Beit Izzie Shapira.  Previously, Dr. Almog held field work positions including as Director of Disability Programs – Joint Israel and Commissioner for Employment of Persons with Disabilities in the Histadrut Labor Federation. Dr. Almog works to advance the field of disability studies in Israel and its inclusion in the countries social and academic discourse.
