Ono Law School Lecturer, Judge Gilad Noitel, 61, was appointed president of the Tel Aviv District Court. He qualified as a lawyer in 1986 after graduating from Tel Aviv University, where he also studied for a master’s degree in law. He initially worked in a civil law firm. From 1984 to 1989 he worked in the Ministry of Justice and since 1990 has been a senior assistant to the Attorney General. In 1994 he was appointed a judge in the Tel Aviv Magistrate’s Court and in 2007 he was promoted to a judge in the Tel Aviv District Court. In April 2017, he was appointed Vice President of the Tel Aviv District Court. In addition, he serves as a lecturer in criminal law, evidence law and punishment at the Netanya Academic College and the Ono Academic College.
